Just another weird white girl with access to the internet
Brett Helquist has been an inspiration to me ever since I was a kid and read “A Series of Unfortunate Events” for the first time. Besides staying up late with my nose in the books I also had my eyes glued to the covers. I loved analyzing and looking at the little details and backgrounds of Helquist’s art as well as the characters he brought to life.
I started audiobooking “A Series of Unfortunate Events” again and am rediscovering Brett Helquist’s illustrations, now with a new perspective (after being through art school for 3 years as an illustration major) and if possible, I appreciate them even more.
These 3 specific pieces are available as prints in his etsy shop.
